There are many factors that can impact installation of your sign.
We do not install or service exterior signs in less than 20 degree temperatures, high winds, or extreme precipitation. If the weather is anticipated to be in that range at the location of installation/service, we will reschedule to a different day.
In order to perform any installation or service work, we will need to take up some space in front of your business. We request that the business owner block the area in front of the sign prior to our arrival to prohibit cars parking in the area we need to access.
Ground conditions such as soft grass, landscaping, concrete barriers, newly poured concrete, awnings, low hanging powerlines, height restrictions, external light fixtures, and other obstacles will impact installation or service work. We assess these factors during a site survey. If a site survey is not completed, the business owner is responsible for communicating if any of the factors above could be an issue.
To install an interior sign, we will need to have access to control the electric to the sign or electric connections. Sometimes this means getting access to behind a wall, inside the ceiling, or other areas.
We do not perform sign installations or service work on weekends or holidays.
We can service indoor and outdoor signs with a bucket truck. We are a COD business. Therefore, payment is due at the time of service. If new glass units are needed, the service call fee will be added to the final invoice.
We will provide an estimate of what the sign may need for repairs. This estimate will include parts, time & labor (includes the time required to come back and complete the repairs).
Neon is a fragile sign with high voltage and a combination of science and craftmanship. You should always use caution when interacting with your neon sign. In the event your sign is acting up, please see the information below. Before you reach out to schedule a service call, try these things first:
Plug the sign into a different outlet to see if that solves the problem. Note: We always recommend having your neon sign plugged into a surge protector and turning the sign on and off using the surge protector switch instead of using the pull chain.
Gently pull the chain on the transformer to see if that was mistakenly switched off. You wouldn't believe how often that happens. :)
Does it just not light AT ALL, or does it flicker briefly when it attempts to light? Record what happens when you try to turn it on and send us the video. This will help us narrow down the source of the problem.
Contact us and let us know they situation and send us any pictures or videos you have of the issue and we will get back to you with further guidance and instructions. If your sign is portable, we will likely ask you to bring it to our workshop for further testing and diagnosis.
