Production Timelines and Payment Options

AS OF 5/1/25, all EXTERNAL transformers have increased in price from $225 to $450. This is due to the tariffs on Canada and China.  Until something in economic policy changes, this is the price going forward.  We have no control over this.  Other pricing on sign components may need to change rapidly as well. 

Any and all custom sign quotes we provide to our customers are good for 30 days.  

Deposit Policy: 

• No work can begin until a deposit is received. Any estimated timelines provided verbally are dependent on the deposit being received by E-Lite Signs, LLC so your job can be put into the production schedule. 

Pickup Policy: 

• Storage Fee: Any repairs or custom work must be picked up within 7 days of notification that the work is completed. Any signs remaining in our workshop after 7 days will incur an 10% storage fee per week past pick up date and this storage fee is applied to the balance due. 
• Pickup Appointments: If you schedule a pickup day and time with us, and do not show up at the scheduled time without proper notice, we reserve the right to charge for our time on your final invoice based on how much time we allocated to meet you. This is not something we want to do. However, too many times we have rearranged our time and workload to meet customers who do not show up. This is a loss to our business and an inconvenience to other customers waiting on delivery.
• Multiple Sign Policy: If you drop off multiple signs for repair, you must pick up the completed signs as they are finished and you are notified of their completion. Waiting to pick up all of your signs at once is not an option. 

By dropping off your sign or requesting custom work, you agree to these terms.

Timeline to Production

• Production is not started until a 50% deposit is received.
• Once the deposit is received, the job will be put into the production schedule.
• If we need to create artwork for you, there will be additional costs to engage a Graphic Designer. It will save you money if you have your own artwork already created in a PDF format.
• Typical timeline to completion once deposit is received depends on the size and complexity of the job. We will provide a timeline at time of deposit.  
• Typical timelines could be 6-8 weeks, based on jobs in process.

Timeline to Repair

• Repairs are not started until a 50% deposit is received.
• Once the deposit is received, we will provide an estimated timeline to completion.
• Due to manufacturing processes by other companies in the past, some neon is not able to be repaired.  We will be upfront and honest with you if that is the case with your sign.
• PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high volume of commercial signage in production, neon sign repairs are slotted into the gaps between commercial sign work. The repair timeline may be extended due to this reason.

We accept deposits in the following forms:

• We are a Cash on Delivery (COD) business.  All payments must be paid in full at the time work completed/delivered/installed.
• Cash: If paying in cash, we will provide a receipt.
• Check: If paying by check, we will provide a receipt. Make the check payable to "E-Lite Neon Signs, LLC".  Please note the name of the job in the memo line of the check (i.e. “Custom Neon – Smith Wedding”).
• Venmo: “@Joseph-McMahon-60” Venmo account (last four of phone number "6598").
• We do not accept credit cards.
• As of October 1, 2023, we will no longer work with corporate Accounts Payable departments or large national sign companies, as we are a COD business.  We will require a deposit or full payment upfront before work can begin as stated above.  
• Warranty coverage from the manufacturer is 1 year on interior transformers ONLY.  Exterior transformers are not under warranty.     
• All estimates/prices are subject to sales tax.
